What a sad day. Microsoft is removing the PDF writing support from Office 2007 due to a legal struggle with Adobe. It plans to provide it as a free download.

Easy come, easy go. There are a ton of free, reliable, third party programs that do a nice job of creating a PDF file from any printable document. I’m not sure the Microsoft free download will be any better than the PrimoPDF free download, or CutePDF, or PDF995, or….
